OK now, our late splurge got us into the Quarter Finals !! I feel now, that we have arrived as it were.
We stand an excellent chance of advancing--
--Our guys have matured greatly since the onset of the season.
--We have excellent depth
-------this depth will be essential moving on
--Milton is back and appears healthy--Wow ! Does he ever !!!
--The obvious roadblock is of course our lack of height--We sometimes have overcome this handicap--Could be that we will do it again.
Trees will be tough--BUT not nearly as some think them to be.
--Milton being back , naturally will cause Trees to guard him closely--That will open Kiki Devon Earl Dante and the rest--Just think, we have Richardson and the rest waiting !!

Should we be good enough to beat Sycamores , and do so, this will really go a long way to making the VALLEY rise along with us--

HUGE chance here for us. --Our depth , Milton vs our lack of height ! Which will prevail ???

Thanks Ram !! I must say that we have been making positive strides in our attempt to get back to where we were many years ago. The good thing is that we are in the right spot, the VALLEY. Recently other schools such as us have risen up BUT were in the wrong spot to hang on or improve--Eg -----
--- BUTLER-Horizon -Did really well -see the record--Tried to trade on the success , jumped Leagues--Now middle of the pack with little prospects--Big Leasr will not prop them up as did HL
--- Creighton- left VALLEY --now what
--- Geo Mason--one great season--but in a not too great League
--- Gonzaga--staying power but in another not so hot League
There are more but you get the idea.

We are in the VALLEY--Fine competition--from many NAME schools--ISUb , Wichita, So Illinois Bradley , N Iowa lately ( jury out for long term )
--- LUC--We are KNOWN (63 of course plus )

Our prospective recruits see this and are responding and others will follow--eg Our Championship, Larry Bird, WSU's great play over the years Walt Frazier Gene Melchiorre--These are what VALLEY is about and we are now part of it.
It is common knowledge that The Football schools ( big ones ), get the TV money and NCAA favors them etc--But our League will respond --BUT not with but TWO teams . We shall be just fine and so will the Valley--Both will be better because we are in it.
We are taking some little steps forward--
-- Our nice season to date
-- Great Alaska Shoot Out coming
-- Bigs on the way to help

AND--AND-- we have just the right Coach at the right time in the right League-- He stood tall while weeding out mistakes--Coached HIS boys as he wanted--They bought in--WE are starting to win---One more step up coming !!

This is how I see it !! Finally a winner is here (18-12) Let's go for more.
