I googled this and found an article printed in the OMAHA WORLD HERALD writing about just that. No word in the TRIB of course ( I do not know about the other papers as I do not subscribe to them.

Gosh , just another reason to cram our good team down their throats---Gotta win though !!

Pretty good field.... Creighton, Washington State, North Carolina State, Mississippi, Montana, Oral Roberts and St. Joseph's. Excellent for the RPI, as they're very good (but not invincible) teams in top conferences (Big East, ACC, SEC, A10, Pac12).
