UNI and WSU both with the 11 seed. WSU has to play in the first four against Vandy. UNI gets Texas in the first game.

I look for both teams to win their first games.

I think NCAA really sucked up to power conferences. Butler? Michigan? Syracuse? Tulsa?
I thought St. Mary's and Monmouth both deserved spots. Oh well...
Also, as to the Valley, maybe it would be to our advantage to hope Shockers stay put, and although I
know nothing about the realities, sounds like St Louis should be in the Valley, just on logistics alone.
Then we need another team too? A stronger conference benefits everyone right?
I personally would like to see the conference rankings rise. Anybody understand this and have an opinion.
Its funny from the earlier days of thinking we could get an EZ bid in the Horizon league, to stepping up to the competition in the Valley to wanting to win the Valley and on and on.... Am I delusional or what? But thats what I wish for...
PM sounded good on WGN. No discussion about next year, and he put a good spin on last season, suggesting so many close games, but no mention of the effort put out in those close games... I'd have done the same.

If Wichita stays , add SLU and Valpo--If they leave add only Valpo--as there really must be issues between Billikens and the league-- There is also Belmont and Detroit , plus a couple others .

SLU will never join. They've been approached a number of times and have zero interest.

If Wichita leaves, I'd bet the odds are a public school is added. If we go to 12, it will most likely be one public and one private. I don't think the privates will allow two publics to be added and I'm certain the publics won't allow two privates to be added.
