We offered this 6'9" four from Nigeria via Detroit Jesuit High School a while ago. A couple of days ago he tweeted that he would make his college decision soon. Yesterday he retweeted a Loyola Men's Basketball Tweet about the Spain trip, then retweeted his own tweet about making his college decision soon. A not so subtle hint?
Interesting...

Interesting. Actually saw him play last winter when U of D came to Chicago for a mini-tournament at Crane.

As of now, there's only one open spot for next year, but I suppose there is always unexpected roster turnover.

Swella , you are exhibiting keen detective skills.....do you think you can find Jimmie Hoffa? It really appears that our recruiting is on the uptick if you believe in the star rating system being accurate..This is my guess but I think that word might be spreading that not only is LU a great academic school but that Coach is a good guy to play for.

Ahunte how'd he look? I have a friend in Detroit who went to the school, said he liked him even more than his teammate Ike Eke who recently committed to Marquette.

Two young bigs would be fine by me. I like that his game is a different than Krutwigs, a bit longer and more explosive on the boards, but obviously still raw as the game is relatively new to him. If we do land him or another big I would still guess we have a third scholarship via Kirby graduating after this year; but i suppose if you can get impact bigs out of HS take them while you can. We only lose one guard and Townes will come in so it's a net zero change in terms of guard numbers. Him + Krutwig and maybe Stefonvic... that's one impressive recruiting class.

I don't really remember that much, to be honest. It was a mess of a game. Also, Detroit had a guard who was committed to Michagan State and their opponent, Farragut, had a guard who caught my eye.

Ebo just retweeted a June tweet of his about his Depaul visit.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the possibility that we have used our last scholarship on the Montenegran kid?

Things should become clearer soon...
