Don't be surprised to see a Facebook ad for Ramblermania. I spent $15 on it. Let's see if we get more members....

Okay JCT.....1st of all it is my annual time to say thank you for all your time and effort....I truly enjoy the Board....I assume that all these other people who contribute are fictional ...I mean SWELLA FELLA,,,,etc. But have often thought that we should grow it....maybe put business cards on those tables at the games where they hand out schedules and poster???? or can we get on the program etc. Also think we should have one Ramblermania event before or after one of the games....or a free throw contest at half time against that renegade group Bo Rambler

That's awesome JCT. Keep up the great work. This is probably a very silly question and/or inappropriate.... but did you fund this marketing plan with your own capital or does Ramblermania have it's own funds?

Ramblermania currently has a couple hundred bucks in surplus in the bank from a couple donations and a recent spike in ad revenue. December was the best month in traffic since the new board began in April 2013. The ad is an attempt to convert visitors to members.

Contrary to what JCT might claim, the $15 in capital funds actually came from the H. Montague Worthington Endowment for the Inhumanities, a 501(c)(3) organization which supports, among other things, Ramblermania and the Cigarboy Boobocracy Institute of Religious Intolerance.

I would, too. So far we've had one person sign up, but it's not clear if they did so as the result of the ad. It's basically just a small test to see if it has any impact whatsoever, either in membership, page likes on Facebook, traffic, Twitter follows, etc.
