I don't have any update, but based on the initial 3-5 week timeline, Custer would be back sometime between tomorrow night and the 17th.

Anyone heard anything? I don't think was wearing a boot on Saturday, but he wasn't moving around that well either.

Sure would be nice to have him back for the games at UNI and Illinois State.

I actually hope we don’t see him. Rushing him back before he’s 100 percent is foolish. I don’t want him to re-aggravate the injury if he’s not 100 percent ready to go. Keep building depth and experience at guard until he’s ready to play at the highest level. We are 1-1 and not in any danger right now. We need him later rather then sooner.

And different then Ben with the broken hand,,,,he will not be in any kind of game condition.....So even when the ankle is better,,,he will still need some time to get in game shape.

... yes... obviously there is no need to rush him back. But the timeline said 3-5 weeks. Just pointing out that tomorrow is three weeks from when that announcement was made.
