I just moved back to town from downstate several weeks ago, and I have resolved to live without cable. I have been successful so far, existing with over-the-air digital, Netflix, and ESPN+. But Monday's Loyola game presents a challenge. I live on the same block with Double Bubble, but in my quest to create an appropriate Ramblermania beachhead south of Bryn Mawr, I'm going to go to Nisei Lounge to watch the game at 5:30 p.m on Monday. It's an easy stop-off for Red Line riders after work, two blocks south of the Addison station on Sheffield.
Anyone is welcome to join us. It's a great place, kind of like the Bruno's of Wrigleyville, with some impressive history. Stop by and say hello, have a cold beverage, and root for the Ramblers. The place is located at 3439 N Sheffield Ave, Chicago, IL, just a bit up from the six-way intersection of Clark, Sheffield, and Newport.
See you there!!!
