Freeman is playing, but there are moments I’ve noticed him grimacing a bit. Even though he’s playing, you have to wonder how much in basketball shape he is after battling mono for weeks. Especially if they win and have to play again in less than 24 hours.

Valpo it is. Hopefully we jump out to an early lead and do not look back. Like last year's quarterfinals game.

Not a pretty game. Valpo went 0-10 from three, and almost gave the game away.

Both teams looked really slow/sluggish. Freeman finished 4/15 for just 8 points and 5 turnovers. I have to think he’s still not all the way back from the mono. Will be interesting to see how they will be tomorrow night.

I’m surprised he even played, when I had mono I barely moved from my bed for the first 3-4 weeks. He’s going to be hurting tomorrow.

JFL played 36 minutes.

Two other Valpo starters played over 30. Only 8 players saw floor time.

Fazekas and McMillan only played 18 and 14 minutes respectively, which is low for them. Lottich said post game that was just a result of the flow of the game and Evansville choosing to go small for a majority of the game. Expect to see both those guys play 25+ min tonight but I hope the other three starters, JFL included, are gassed. I was hoping for OT even if Valpo pulled it out.

Feel bad for KJ Riley. Guy has made over 400 free throws in his career. Shot 80% this year. Went 4-8 and missed two chances to tie the game.
