That’s 2 now that we’ve had problems on our ESPN+ subscription feed. It was a bummer, but I try not to get too mad as an out-of-state fan, since 10 years ago we wouldn’t have been able to watch any of the games, and now anyone In the country can watch pretty much all of them.

If you’re technologically advanced and this problem happens again (or even if it doesn’t and you want to try something cool) I have a very good suggestion for you. When the audio feed went out yesterday, I paired my Bluetooth speaker to my phone, went on the Loyola athletics website, and started streaming the Game audio broadcast. I then paused my ESPN video feed and synced it up with the radio stream. The guys doing the radio feed are actually really good, and because it’s a radio feed they were saying the score repeatedly. It was actually more enjoyable to watch and listen to than most tv broadcasts.

I do the same thing with Bears games when Joe Buck is on the ball. I sync up WBBM radio and listen to Jeff Joniak and Tom Thayer make the call, and it’s seamless and much more informative.

For what it's worth, I think the problem was with the NBC Sports Chicago production. We had the same issues in-market.

DePaul being bad worries me about Porter leaving. Not because I think he'll go there, but I do think he'll use them as leverage for another job.
