That was my first time seeing Mo State this year and they did not exactly respond well to being tested for 40 minutes. They have some talent and will win solely because of that some nights, but I feel like they would be hard pressed to keep it together for 40 minutes.

We better hope Missouri State can play 40 solid minutes tomorrow and pull out a win. Based on Drake’s play in the second half, there’s not a whole lot standing in their way of running away with the league other than us. They’ve got two games at Bradley to end the season that may be difficult, and they have to make up some games, but if they win tomorrow, they’ll officially have the best path to the 1 seed down the stretch.

I don’t see Drake losing many games. If they knock Missouri State off tomorrow, and we split with the Bears (or worse) this weekend, I don’t know that we will have enough to catch Drake.

If we want to win a regular season title, we need Missouri State to win tomorrow.

What is the tiebreaker if we split with Drake and they drop one other game (and we otherwise win out) leaving both of us at 16-2?

Funny you should ask. The conference just posted the tiebreakers tonight.

The tiebreakers are:
1. Head to head
2. Record against common opponents
3. Record against highest ranked common opponent
4. NET

There's also a minimum number of games a team needs to play to be eligible for the regular season title, but the exact number is dependent on the total number of conference games played.

Missouri State is 75th in the NET right now. Would be nice if they stayed top 75 (not by beating us, of course), giving us two more Q1 games.

agree.....that just seems to be their MO....better players that dont play particularly well while Drake plays some pretty good basketball.
