The Loyola Ramblers have the top 2 field goal shooters in the MVC Aher Uguak 62.73% and Tom Welch 62.65% in addition to the number 7 FG shooter Cameron Krutwig 58.5%. Compared to the national rankings (limited to 5 field goals per game & above) Uguak would be behind the NCAA's 9th best 3 point shooter, Gonzaga's Drew Timme who shoots at a 64.2% rate.

Krutwig also leads the MVC in 2 point field goals & 2 point field goals per game.

Keith Clemons is 2nd in 3 point shooting percentage with 45.6% in the MVC.
Compared to the national rankings (limited to those with 2.5 three point baskets per game https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-m ... vidual/143 )
Clemons would be behind the NCAA’s 8th best 3 point shooter Greg Parham who shoots a 45.9% rate.

We not only have great defenders on our team but also great shooters.

Go Ramblers!

I think you must mean FG%, not 3P%. Regardless, Uguak shooting 37% from 3 is incredible after shooting 20% in 2019 and 16% in 2020.

He just looks a lot more comfortable and confident shooting this year. A lot more. Previous years he was hesitant most of the time, and you could almost see him thinking about whether he should shoot or not. It’s a huge credit to him for fighting through it and getting better.
