That is BIG TIME! Congrats King Krut!

Awesome stuff. The amount of talented bigs this year in college basketball really amazes me. Krut, Garza, Dickinson, Cockburn, Mobley, etc... They say the game is changing to a more perimeter-oriented style but man, I love that we have some big-man, physical style basketball left in the game.

I know we should be happy that he is getting this honor, but really, he should be 2nd or 1st team. In POY rankings, he's 3rd on Kenpom and 7th for T-Rank. Jared Butler is behind him in both. Corey Kispert is behind in Kenpom, and Cade Cunningham isn't even ranked in either of those. He gets the benefit of the doubt for being hyped before the season starts.

I won't go into the 2nd team as much, but none of those guys rank above Krutwig in Kenpom nor T-Rank. I feel they knew he was good, but couldn't justify putting him higher because he doesn't go to a power conference school or Gonzaga, so they threw him a bone on the 3rd team.

Maybe in a few more years we'll hear the same things about Loyola, we've come a long way.
