So the LU women's team won a great game 61-60 on Friday. LU was to play Drake and MSU was to play Bradley.today in the semis... Bradley and Drake had a tier 1 Covid test...but enough eligible players to continue...(Tests were Friday) MSU decided to withdraw from the tournament even though they had no positive tests....but were to play Bradley who did have at least one player testing positive.....Their reasoning was they wanted to make sure they were eligible for the NCAA (They are a lock to get an invite as ranked 22nd in the nation). Afraid that possiblly playing two teams who had a positive tier 1 test.....So LU will play Bradley instead of Drake and Drake gets a bye into the Championship game. LU split with Bradley at Bradley this year. If you are jonesing for some LU basketball the game will be on ESPN+ at 6.......What a year it has been.

So scouting a team and all that stuff went out the window? When did LU find out they were playing Bradley and not Drake ??!!

Update...we lost 70-56 poor shooting night. I did not see the the change until late mourning.
