Yeah to be honest, Wichita State colors are officially black and yellow but the word "gold" is used in the WSU fight song. I've gone with BlackandGold on Shockernet.net for so long that its not worth changing. My family and I are really excited about the game tomorrow. We live in Naperville, so when the Valley introduced Loyola as the newest Valley member we were excited to say the least. I'm 6'5" and like to stand and cheer, so I apologize to whoever I sit in front of. Good luck tomorrow. Rambler fans are truly classy.

I heard WSU fans have a reputation of traveling well. They will be there in force tonight.

It's one of the reasons we've been getting some good MTEs in recent years. When we were in Maui a couple years ago only Kentucky brought larger numbers and they do that to almost anyone.

Being a midweek game will keep some from traveling but we may find out what kind of alumni base we have in Chicago.

For student tickets they were making us get them ahead of time and said they wouldn't be giving them out at game time like they normally do. Not sure if that means that student tickets will be sold out or if it will hurt attendance because people can't just show up

I recall that from my time as a grad student. They made us do that for the big games. Nothing new

Ya I remember them doing it before for bigger games but I was talking to a friend who works in athletics that said a couple of days ago they had a lot of tickets left so I was confused but it seems now they are out now.
