This is pretty much how I feel. Thought about the NIT, but mostly for Lucas’s sake anything but the above would feel like a letdown after such a great career

Already a successful season for me

1) 1st year head coach continues to improve
2) Lost a Loyola Mt Rushmore player in Krutwig and are still tied for first in the conference.

It was not beautiful, but we got our 20th win last night. Check that box.
Next step, regular season championship.

We're almost there. If we win at least one tournament game, I will consider it successful season.

Absolutely a successful season, goal should always be to make the tourney and we did it. 25 wins, a MVC title, and a tourney appearance are fantastic to the program and will only help momentum wise moving to the A10 and on the transfer/recruiting scale. If we win a game or two, that will just be gravy and boost us up even more.

100% agreed.

I'd love to get a big, public name in the first round that underperformed so that the program and Lucas get some national publicity.
