Let the discussions begin.

Glad to be back in the tourney, personally I’d like to see us at 10, 11, 12; we can do some real damage in those slots.

Bart Torvik has us as a 9, but that's before all the surprise teams get in. I think we'll be a 10, and I'm OK with that.

Just hoping that the first round is somewhere fairly close... Milwaukee, Indy, Pittsburgh....

Think we end up as a 10/11. Per BracketMatrix, possible first round opponents would be Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Iowa, USC, Colorado State, Seton Hall or...Murray State. We all know the NCAA loves the storylines so wouldn't be shocked if we end up as the 10 seed opposite Murray State as a 7 seed.

I would prefer a lower type of seed against an underachieving team that got in on name more than production. You win a game like that as a low seed and it sets up a better matchup in round 2. 8/9 (and I don't think we can be higher than that) gets you a #1 in round 2. 11 gets you a 6 seed and then hopefully the worst of the 3 seeds. I don't think we drop lower than 11.

So my vote: 11 in Milwaukee against a team from far away.

My bet: 11 in Milwaukee against Marquette. That's the type of interesting matchup the NCAA loves.

I thought we'd be an 11, but we continued to move up as the week went on. Something little that I found interesting was San Francisco ended up ranked 2 spots ahead of us (also a 10 seed). I'm happier with our draw versus there, but I figured if we were both 10s we'd get the higher ranking seeing we beat them on a neutral court. Wonder how the committee justified that one.
