LARRY FARMER,former coach at Loyola, has returned to coaching.

There was a nice clip on the news about him becoming the head coach at Woodlawn Academy in Lake Forest where he is coaching the girls team.
Nice interview with him highlighting his career at UCLA and also at Loyola.
He says he wanted to keep busy in retirement and is teaching both skills and "Wooden-isms".
A genuine good guy. He could recruit but just did not get the results. In part he was criticized for his staff which was allegedly not hard working.
In today's game it is a grueling year round job.

I used to call him The Nicest Man in the World™ because he was pretty damn nice. His son was on the Harvard coaching staff that beat us this year.

He was a disaster while he was here. He once yelled "F*$k You" at me after he butchered clock management at the end of game we should have won. He couldn't take some booing and voicing of opinions very well. AD and Ticket Director were terrified I was going to make a big deal after I emailed them to advise them of what happened. He never did apologize. In my book, he's not what he appears to be.

Ah, the good old days lol
