I truly hope not---So, we lost our best player. right ?? Then our Coach and team had best find a way regardless--Good teams and good Coaches do. Nope , we will not be as good without Milton as we would be with him--BUT if he is ALL we have then PM and this team had best pack it in NOW--The Coach can --the team cannot and must not. If all these years of recruiting etc mean that we only have ONE decent player, then I have been backing the wrong team FOR YEARS !!
More multi-loss seasons are unacceptable---totally !!
Surely there is some one will step into the void--Whom will it be ?????---Maybe the Starting Five will take up the slack. Sure we need BIGS and more off them--but UCLA got by for years without them---I witnessed it--Height is good but you must compensate---I am NOT comparing PM with Wooden--only his philosophy.

There still must be something wrong at the top, if we cannot even settle the AD question-----

Look no further than Tom Kelly. He's in charge of this whole disaster.

Our program was pretty much run out of Chicago. For PM's first few years, Chicago did not have a strong class. The last few have been better If Doyle is healthy, we are going to be much better than people think. We have some very good talent coming in.

Thanks Jim. I feel much the same way. There is so much gloom and doom around here and we haven't even played a minute yet. Porter has been a good recruiter and if he can grow as a coach the program can be heading in the right direction. I am looking forward to this season.

If Doyle can not play, it will be tough but we are still one step closer. Doyle would be back plus Smart and two big men. The newcomers would get some good PT. The program is moving forward. We will get to a much better place.
