This game is going down to the wire...

Shockers played well the entire game, but they're making some silly mistakes near the end.

Shockers call timeout with 3 seconds left...trailing Kentucky by 2.

Sorry to see the Shockers go . Just looked like they lost their confidence the last couple of minutes. In a game like that the first ones to blink. Good look for Van Fleet. Still a great year. I hate Kentucky

Shockers lose!

That was a sad ending to an incredible season.

Great game, but KU's inside presence was too much. Too many offensive boards for Kentucky, and wow... the missed free throws for Wichita State was a killer that you wouldn't expect. I haven't seen the stats, but rebounds and free throws really stuck out for me.

Great career by Early.... I wonder if he'll get a second round pick in the NBA Draft....

Now Illinois State is the last MVC team still alive; they're playing in the CBI quarterfinals against Texas A&M on Monday night.

Tough way to go. Early played great, but the Shockers couldn't get a stop down the stretch.

Was a great game.

To my surprise, I actually found myself rooting for the Shockers.

Subgod's been a good rep for WSU, for that sorry their season ended quicker than they wanted it to.

Sad end for a fine team and a classy opponent--Too many missed freebies (sound familiar) and Kentucky had too many foul shots PLUS they made them.

Refs might have missed a few--BUT that does even out----I think.

How about Cleanthony for the Bulls or Cavs ???

And less than five hours after the Shockers are out of the tournament, they lose an assistant coach.
