Seems to me that the keys to the game are 1) Can Doyle lock down on Devonte Brown? If Milt is healthy, his size and length at guard could make a big difference -- as long as he stays out of foul trouble. 2) Can we hit some threes? Needless to say, going 7-24 against them in two games did not help our chances.

a lot more guys were able to take on leadership roles (Peterson, CT) and with the exception of White (who I've been a little disappointed with) everyone seems to have gotten better through the experience.

To me it seems that Jeff has made a lot of progress the last two-three weeks. Much better acceleration and signs of better shooting touch. He's been way off his game this year after the surgery and I think he's getting his game back.

White had two not-so-hot games against Indiana State. But since the Feb. 11 game against SIU, he's been mostly very good, averaging 4.8 points per game, 2.8 assists, 46% shooting from the floor. His best game in that stretch was against Drake (12 points in 29 minutes with 2 threes), and his worst game was against Illinois State (0 points in 17 minutes, 1 assist). I think his confidence and determination plays a big role in how he performs from game to game, and he's a lot more gun shy against quick and/or athletic guards, perhaps not sure of his physical ability after his injury and surgery. When he has a quickness advantage against man to man defense, he takes advantage of it, but he struggles against zones.

We are 2.5 point dogs according to CBSSPORTS !!Neutral court and Milton are the reasons I presume. OK. everyone plays to their capabilities plus a tad more and we win--eg Turk hits more than three 3s. I really believe our deep bench will have an effect on this game-- BUT we MUST stop their three-ball shooters all the while.
Problems to overcome-
---the defense MUST step up big time
---Must play taller than our height--we do that most times
---No stage fright please !!
---HIT freebies all game.

I really feel we can and will win this bad boy !!!!

GO RAMBLERS !!!!

I don't have any sound where I'm watching, did they say why Doyle wasn't starting?

Also, agree it looks like a good crowd there. That place seats around 20k, and a good portion of it looks filled

No, it appeared as if they were not sure either. Doyle is available to play, but I'm assuming that he's limited (doctor's orders?). Either that or Porter wants to keep Doyle fresh for down the stretch...
