Swella, I will buy you a beer at the NCAA Second Round if we make it next year if we are not listed as Loyola-IL in the bracket. When we play on ESPN we are sometimes listed as Loyola-IL. I just see that as how we would be listed and get recognized nationally. CBS Sportsline, etc, have us as that. We must be listed somewhere officially as Loyola-IL.

Yep...he said the team gathered and got some dinner to watch the Selection Show. And how they recognize that there is where they want to be. Pretty cool.

The Score also mentioned that they think Loyola is probably the closest team in Illinois to breaking into the tourney (sans UofI).

In that case I think it is pretty cool and can be a good motivator. I think it would be pretty tough for us to get into the tournament next year but maybe in a couple.

An announcement about the post-season game had better come pretty soon!!!! Otherwise attendance will be limited to the team, band, dance team, cheerleaders, an Sister Jean.

I think part of the reason for the delay is that so many teams are declining invites this year so they are having to find other options.
