The MVC was not shown much respect not just in their seeding but in the teams they have to play. Wyoming is a mirror of UNI with a big guy who may be better than Tuttle. Indiana can for sure beat WSU. Wyoming and Indiana are two teams on the up at the end of the year. Wyoming played without their best player for a good portion of the season,,,and he is now back full strength. Indiana was a young team just starting to play well...I think both of these games are 50/50. Also I thought ISU was the best team in the Valley at the end of the year.

The battle between Van Fleet and Yogi Ferrel should be fun to watch. and the battle between Tuttle and Nash also.

Great games yesterday. Here's hoping UNI and WSU can take care of business today. Both are 6 pt favorites. Also hoping Valpo can pull off an upset!

Big 12 showed their true colors yesterday. They were given way too much love in the seeding.

Thursday 5PM and I was already out of the pool. If nothing else the MId-Majors got some revenge on the NCAA selection committee. I think the two MVC teams have really tough matches. Wyoming has a kid that is the mirror of Tuttle just bigger. This game could be under 50 on both sides. And Indiana is no slouch. The match up between Yogi Ferrel and Van Fleet should be outstanding. Two opposite styles of play however.

Watching Virginia play against Michigan State brings back all those bad and frustrating memories of us facing Green Bay back in the 90s.

Congrats to the Shockers. I didnt see it. I picked WS and UNI to lose in the first round. Man both those teams do the little things consistently. I wonder what Milton Doyle was thinking as he watched WS take down the Jayhawks?

As a matter of solidarity, I think Ramblermaniacs should support small-enrollment and mid-major teams, no matter if they are from. Big East, WAC, Horizon, whatever. Huge behemoths, one-and-done basketball factories. Ugh.

Rog Gal is on to soething--I do agree, but there are a few--very few "BIG" schools from those "BIG" confs thay I woud pull for--But these so-called "BIG" sometimes do not qualify under her one and done rule. This year I am rooting hard for the Irish !!--For a while that was !!! I do believe they draw our Shockers next--Must go with our guys !! Go Shockers !!
As I say she makes a point---There were so far about five one and done BIGS gone. Sad for Panthers !
Now I must get back to LUC business-- We can and should beat ORU !!!

I had a ton of mixed emotions when I saw this Villanova band member after the Wildcats were upset by NC State. Maybe it's just that she's a piccolo player, but it's sad, poignant, and funny at the same time. It kind of sums up the brutal aspect of the NCAA Tournament. Great camera shot, but it makes you feel like you're intruding on private pain.
