This is pretty ugly and depressing. They're still shooting over 50% on threes. They're out rebounding us this half by 13-3. Boy, do we miss Christian Thomas.

He's scored the last 10 points for us. The problem is we can't rebound. They have had plenty of second chances and that is the difference.

I really don't get it. Why did Doyle wait until 6:48 left in the half before he took his first shot attempt after halftime?

This doesn't bode well for the next two games, either. If we can't beat SIU at home... Yikes....

I am starting to get it--Milton is NOT who we thought he was. He seems to be trying to go one on one BUT it is NOT there--The opposition knows this about him. Based on yhis game we appear to be looking at best a seventh place finish--IF that. Guys we just are nbot competitive.

I would not put the blame on Doyle, unless it's his idea to not shoot at all for the first 3/4 of the second half. We started four guards in this game, and the ones besides Doyle (Turk, Peterson, and Ingram) were a combined 3-15 from the field for 8 points. Doyle-- by himself-- was 5 for 9 from the field, plus 6 of 7 from the line, with 12 points coming in the final 6:48 of the game. It's like he's only allowed to score in panic time, when others have proven they don't have it and we're 12 points down.
