I watched a little bit of the Drake game, and with a little over one minute left Drake was at the free-throw line down by four with a chance to cut it to two, and they airballed their first free-throw. That’s gotta be demoralizing. Drake is probably going to start coming down to earth. This game tomorrow gives us a chance to take away some momentum from INI and give us a little separation. Ever since Custer came back we’ve just worn teams down by the last ten minutes and we just keep plugging away at the same pace. I just hope we can keep doing it. With the exception of the Boise state game this team has been able to play hard for 40 minutes ( as opposed to the teams in years past and could only keep it up for 32 minutes or so). Let’s just hope there’s no let-up now that we are in the drivers seat.

Not to get too far off topic, but I remember the double OT game against Indiana State a couple years ago. Their big guy Murphy airballed a free throw late in the game. His entire demeanor changed for the rest of the game. The difference between a normal miss and that airball might've been the difference between us winning and losing.

I also saw on Twitter that the first 500 students were getting "rally towels". So it appears as is they are pushing this game pretty hard with the students.
