Live, in-game betting is an interesting, dangerous, and very real thing. During the Kansas State/Oklahoma football game last fall Kansas State was only trailing by a touchdown in the second half, but still huge underdogs to win at +1500. I figured it was worth the risk of a dollar, but accidentally added a zero to make it ten. That was the happiest mistake I’ve made in a while.

I'm obviously not a betting man, so I don't know what "+1500" means. It couldn't mean 1500 to 1 odds so that your $10 bet paid $15,000, could it?

Odds like that are based off of $100 bets, so +1500 means that a $100 bet would win you $1500 more than you bet. So on a $10 bet that’s $150 (and a $1 bet would be $15)
