They have a very winnable game against USC with a depleted Kansas afterwards.

I see what the committee was doing, hoping to get that Wichita State-Kansas game in the second round just as they did Loyola-Illinois.

North Texas is really giving it to Purdue. If they win, our victory will look even more impressive. I'm rooting for them.

Every team we faced during the regular season has moved on to the next round. North Texas beat Purdue in OT. Wisconsin beat North Carolina handily. Drake beat Wichita State. And Richmond won their NIT first round game.

Drake like their coach. He just signed an 8 year extension.

Looks like Drake's great season is coming to an end. They look really tired in this game.....couldn't handle USC's length.

BTW - a great game by USC's Drew Petereson (who transferred to USC from Rice) ......I remember him as another Porter recruiting target out of Libertyville. Not sure we ever got real close to getting him. Terrific all around player - another validation of Porter's eye for talent.

Better than the way VCU's season ended.
