This offense is fun. Much faster paced and looks like we will be shooting a lot of 3's. Interested to see more ball movement as here will be nights when the 3's aren't falling.

The new offense seems almost NBA-esque in terms of style. At least for this game, I’m sure it might be adjusted based on the opponent.

The box score might look like we’re just dribbling down and chucking up 3’s, but there’s pretty good ball movement.

And, not surprisingly, the defense hasn’t gone anywhere.

This is exactly how you want the first game to go. Everyone is playing with energy. Shots are falling and everyone can build confidence. The result isn't in doubt so Drew can empty the bench, try different lineups, and see what he has in a game situation. And there's still some coachable moments to work on in practice.

Students really showed up tonight. Filled the lower bowl, behind the band and basket in 212/214, and the upper bowl in 204.
