Christian Thomas is a warrior and is definitely our greatest inside presence. But he's still fundamentally undersized. I'm always amazed when he maneuvers around three bigger guys in the paint, but he does it. He's a guy you can go to war with, but against Wichita, the lack of size got exposed. And the four-headed not-monster is anemic offensively. The best thing I've seen from the four-headed mild creature is Osborne's passes into Thomas from the top of the key. And that still always blows my mind since, going off size, Osborne is the one who should be on the block. But it's February. We got what we got. And I'll ride with Thomas.

CT may be undersized but he plays with determination and heart. Much like Leon Young before him...I take a bunch of players like them over guys like Blair (who didn't want to be here and thought he was better than he really was)

I was looking at the thread on MVCfans.com about midseason predictions for All-MVC teams, and CT's name didn't come up until something like the 12th or 14th post. Granted, we're looking like a Thursday team right now (unless we win tonight and Sunday), but CT has to be the most unnoticed guy in the league with the kind of numbers he has. He's 9th in scoring, 4th in rebounds, 3rd in FG %, and 3rd in minutes. Astounding, when you consider he's 6'5" with shoes on. When you hear him analyze the game in videos and postgame comments, it's obvious that he's brilliant on top of his athleticism. I think his work ethic is about the best I've seen on a Loyola team, and his smarts provide an extra advantage that overcomes his lack of size.

And.... as soon as we praise Christian Thomas, he picks up two fouls in the first four minutes of the game.

Under 16 timeout, and we're on pace for 0 points and 40 turnovers. Oy.

Good turnaround to get back in the game.

Starting to recover from the 10-0 Bradley start. 12-12 now. Hope I don't see any more Osborne on the dribble drive.

Looks like Boyle showed up this half. Hopefully that last bucket is a sign Doyle is now in.

I'll take a two point lead at the half in this one, especially since Thomas played a LOT with two fouls in the first half, and Doyle is starting to feel it. Two fouls on Pickett, Bell and Taylor for Bradley to start the second half. Eleven turnovers for Loyola at the half, but the rate of turnovers is starting to slow.

Nice job by King coming off the bench. He looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, but his length keeps the Braves shooting lower percentage shots from outside.
