Well that is a good sign. Lets hope these brothers can be the height that we so badly need.

This reminds me of what happened to Nolan Berry, the Butler transfer that we also recruited. In high school, Berry broke both of his arms in a basketball fall.

But he recovered, and I hope Devin will too.

Oh man, that is terrible. Berry broke his arms, actually, not his legs. I have to think that's a bit easier to recover from.

I think tall guys still growing into their bodies are more vulnerable to stress fractures like this. Coaches should take this into account. But I suppose a lot of these injuries are unavoidable.

I am just trying to imagine how breaking two limbs in a basketball game is possible.

Terrible to see this type of injury. Wishing him the best with his recovery.

Here's Devin Kirby's Twitter feed, where he talks about his injury, and even posts photos of the x-rays showing the fractures. He's going to have surgery soon and is obviously done for the season. I hope he makes a full recovery. It sounds like a bad injury.

Devin comes across as a great kid. I would love to see him in a Rambler uniform.

That injury is horrendous !! The youngster seems to be doing OK plus IS saying the correct things--I really hope he beats this quickly--

Now then, I am woefully behind the times as usual--Would someone please list our recruits and their vitals--you know Ht, Wght etc !! THANKS !!!

I think i have been so wrapped up in THIS YEARS team that somehow i fell behind on our recruits. Can someone tell me if this Kirby kid that committed is supposed to be in Rogers park for the next upcoming season (is he a Senior this year?).
