Poor Zeke took a lot of heat for this post regarding a Loyola Basketball Renaissance. If I do say so myself he was spot on.

Congratulation Ramblers. This team makes me so very proud. They showed what hard work, commitment, and great coaching can do.

Thank You Porter. Thank You Players, and Thank You Steve Watson for believing in the team and the alumni.

I do not recall seeing a Ramblin' Ray post this whole CBI tournament. But he is a great guy and has been right a lot more than wrong.
But even he should bask in the glory of this moment if he can spare the time from his director of activities responsibilities. I think this was Bingo Championship week at his complex and he had to call the numbers. But his next call should be O63, O 62 and then W 24!

On another note, I caught the radio broadcast of the LA Monroe announcer. Did a nice job and was very complimentary of Loyola and their hot shooting. He mentioned the Ramblers overcoming the eight point deficit. A class act I thought!

You know, I always enjoyed the Louisianans' sense of hospitality and genuineness whether it was in the swamps of Ft Polk, the Air base in Alexandria--Coast Guard in the Delta or the Great City of Nawlins !!--Be they Cajuns, Creoles or just plainly Folks !! There is something about Louisiana and its people--See WarHawk fans.

I would hope maybe Porter finds room on our schedule in the near future---TWO GAMES --eight points of separation--great series !!
