Now it's all "This would be by far our best road win of the year so far," "I expect a very difficult game," and "I think it will be a slugfest." That's some pretty good progress. The item that makes me most happy is that KenPom Fan Match gives this game the highest thrill factor of the day.

I hope it's not a thriller and we win handily.

Congrats on a good year thus far. Hope you do well except when you play the Shox.

A little vid about the players (albeit last years)

I've caught only a few glimpses of the Ramblers this year but I've been impressed with what you've done considering your lack of size and roster turnover. I expect a good game tomorrow and hope my Shox have found their "Play Angry" which seemed to go missing for a few weeks prior to the last 12 minutes of the Bradley game.

We're a lot different team from last year, but we're still pretty damn good when focused. Having Wessel back helps because he's an energy guy that would run through a brick wall for Marshall. If Shaq continues his efforts, he'll be a load inside for any team. We're still looking for some consistent help from our guards though. Brown and Henderson and even Holland have had moments, but never putting more than a couple of games together before disappearing. I do think we'll be a tougher team in February and Marach as I think we'll have a better idea of what to expect and who to expect it from when it comes to our bench. I still expect a win in Chicago, but it should be a good game.

Vegas point spread has stretched from 5.5 to 7.5 Shockers.

I wonder if this means Montel James will sit out with injury again?

I'm seeing 8 points now in some places. I'd probably take the points there, given that KenPom predicts at 3 point game and RealTimeRPI actually predicts a Loyola win. Plus, I won't have to buy my own hot dog today, so I've got some extra money burning a hole in my pocket.

On the broadcast from Evansville, Montel seemed to be wearing some type of boot, so it doesn't look good. I doubt that's what is shifting the lines around though. More likely just money on Wichita State.

Barring some disaster, Grace will be making her first appearance at an LU basketball game this afternoon. She was in the house when the Volleyball team won the semifinal. This time, she's more alert and mobile. I'm planning to teach her how to yell at the refs.

Feel free to stop by the top of 101 to say hello.

For purposes of my bet with ahunte, Grace only counts as .25 attendee.

To win this game, we can't play like we did against our other two ranked opponents. Limit the turnovers and make free throws. And be cognizant on help defense down low. And unlike the MSU and UNI games, hopefully our home crowd helps give us some momentum and we can use that to our advantage especially on defense. Prediction: LU by 2
