Interesting video! What caught my attention was West Virginia going into a press to disrupt Richmond’s offense, which looks which like it created at least 4 turnovers from the video. I didn’t see the whole game, so I wonder HOW effective it was, and how many times Richmond was able to beat it and score quick points.

I still think if Hall and Norris can trap trap a guard in the backcourt on the inbound pass, Uguak and Williamson have the ability to snag the bailout pass and create turnovers.

We will be hosting St. Francis this Tuesday at noon. It will be nice to see us get another easy win.

I’m ok with it. I’m guessing COVID concerns are keeping the team from going home for Christmas (I think Porter mentioned this weeks ago), and it’s not a bad idea to not be going into conference play after an extended break, plus with a game where you can work on lineup ideas (and we have plenty of options to play with).

I agree. Hopefully we'll see Anderson and Hutson play some minutes.

This seems like a great way to get them in, see what they look like, and give them game experience.

I’m very interested to see what Anderson looks like (mostly his shooting ability since I don’t think you’re going to get a good gauge from this competition on anything else).

Some people have said that Anderson probably isn’t ready because he is still getting used to Porter’s system. You could have said the same for Krutwig as an 18 year old coming out of high school in Algonquin, or Aundre Jackson coming from community college though.

I guess we’ll probably get to see them in action. I really if St. Francis game wasn’t specifically picked up for this purpose?

Agreed. The execution on offense looked really good against ISU, and you’d hate for a long delay to possibly disrupt that.

Xavier’s game against Villanova was postponed this weekend. What are the odds that Porter is already on the phone with them trying to set something up?

Is the Valley going to let us schedule out of conference games during conference play??!
