With German additions Jacob Patrick and Alexander Richardson, the Ramblers are really attacking the Atlantic Ten with a Fritzkrieg. They're two tonics to the roster.

Both have such American sounding names too. Compared to Franz and Moritz Wagner, etc.

Jacob Patrick's dad is American. Not sure about his mom.

Alexander Richardson is listed as British-German.

Just got done looking at the Scholarship Chart. Strange. From an eligibility standpoint we will have a lot of Fr and So. It's a little deceiving in that the two German Kids have played some professional ball, but young nonetheless.

I assume they have four years of eligibility, but someone can correct me if that's wrong.

Another transfer. Busy day. Drew is accumulating bodies. Competition is gonna be crazy next year. He's a decent 3 point shooter and athletic. Drew will have plenty of bodies. Richardson is the truest post player we have brought in and figures to back up Miles with Young. The rest of these guys are gonna be fighting for minutes.

Will definitely have a lot of options for different lineups. Of course it's tough to say that's anything but a good thing, but the pattern the last two years has been: lots of new shiny pieces => "I feel like I have 10 starters" => team struggles => rotation narrows significantly => team gels and goes on a run.

If racking up OOC wins in Nov/Dec weren't so essential to at-large chances, it wouldn't necessarily be a huge deal. But we've got to play to system as it exists.

I hear this impulse, but it’s also glossing over an 8-0 start before 3 starters went down in 2 games.if healthy I think this team makes it out of non con with 1 loss. Injuries are gonna happen, but rarely all at once like they did this year.

It's too bad we couldn't get his former teammate, Andrej Stojakovic, in a package deal. Noticed that Ola-Joseph's season stats were eerily identical, with high 3 pt.-shooting efficiency, for each of his three years at Cal. This bodes well.

Yes this turn will surely spiral into a scheduling thread, but we had one game in those first 8 that on paper was somewhat challenging (@ Princeton). If we play shabby competition again, it will not be enough to just go 8-0. We need to win those games by 30 as well. For example going down to the wire at home versus NET #306 Southern Utah kills us. Close wins against Chicago State, Canisius, etc. don't help as well.
