Imo if Ingram is playing the 4, we're in big trouble. He's not strong enough and it would be a waste of his quickness and impressive play in the open court. Love him but not at 4.

Actually, Ingram played 18 minutes a game at the 4 and even sometimes the 5. The addition of Kirby will mean that Ingram and Knuth will no longer be needed at the 5. Last year James only played 21 minutes a game.

We will have some size coming in. If they have half the heart that CT had, we'll be a force.

I completely disagree. I was at every single home game except 1. Ingram is not truly playing 4. He is more a free safety but operates like a 3. He is not a 4 and will not be a good replacement for CT. In 9 min less a game he shot 75% more 3s than CT this year. Not only not a 4 type of player but it would not utilize his strengths in my opinion,

Well part of the disagreement in my opinion is whether you believe there is a 1-2-3-4-5 on the court at all times because that's how ball is. I saw a lot of games this year where we had three 2s, a 3 and 4 out there. Titles don't work with this years team. Ingram played like a shooting guard and small forward when I was there.

Criminy Guys !! That was part of the beauty of this team--Our opponents apparently could not properly guard our guys--as we knew where they would be on any given play--The bad guys did not--Agreed. to mr there were few instances of standard 12345 !

I think Ingram is best used as a 3 he has the quickness and dribbling ability better used as a guard. He can play some at the 4 but I wouldn't want to see him around the blocks as much as CT was.

RamblerSam I heard that he originally went to IUPUI but he is back here at Loyola but not on the team obviously.

Pretty sure both him and Jeremy King still attend Loyola.

Thanks, Johnnyfingers. That explains why I saw Cody in St. Louis at AM. Not trying to start any gossip, but any ideas why he left the team (or the team left him). Def didn't think he was great, bt 6-8 min a game pushing people out of the middle wouldn't have been the worst thing.
