There will be a send off at the hotel. Don Ingram, Donte's dad led the cheers last year. Nancy and I will miss it this year due to poor health, but will be there in spirit. I was looking forward to driving my new F150 down to St. Louis, but we will be watching on TV.

Yes. After I negotiated Brown's surrender I managed to get down to St. Louis in time to run into Streak and the Calculator Lady in the lobby of Motel 6. I helped them carry in their matched set of Hefty Bag© luggage and was rewarded with a hearty "Thank you!", but no tip.
Later at the Loyola reception I learned from Streak how to maximize the amount of free food consumed. We were provided with tiny and flimsy plastic plates to limit portions. Streak found an ingenious work-around by turning individual Buffalo chicken wings into chicken kabobs using
ordinary plastic straws as skewers. That way he could stack them up like cord wood.
Also learned from him how to convince the bartender that it was 7:59, and not 8:32 p.m.

oh and I ran into Clayton Custer in the elevator lobby and we got to talk for a couple minutes ,,,,,mostly about his golf team defeated my golf team in the Alumni Outing.....He was apologetic.....kinda......was able to verify that I am wider than him.

The players definitely have their lady fans. Here is a sign taped to Bruno's hotel door. Clayton, Marques, Christian and Jake all had similar signs from their admirers.

I guess that's nice.... but a little scary, too.

You are referring to swella taking pictures of Bruno's hotel room door, right? Man, now I really regret teaching him how to post images...

But I suppose this does serve as proof that he made it to St Louis. Did he actually go to the game??

Do any of you know what time the send off from the hotel is today? and what bar is hosting the pre/post party?

It's usually an hour 45 min before the game, so that would put it at 12:45 today.

Wheelhouse is the Loyola bar.
