First Half Observations:

This is exactly what I was worried about to begin the season. Eventually, this will work out, but Porter is goign to have to really fight to figure out what combination of players work the best with one another. I'm hoping if we find a lineup that starts to run off a streak of points, we stick with it for a while and see what they can do.

Obviously, we could easily win this game just by feeding the ball to Krutwig every possession. Hopefully a few others beside him step up in the second half.

Agreed. So many options in the backcourt especially. The Hebb, Kennedy, Clemons lineup was interesting...should work fine against a team like CSU especially with their ball-handling, but it seems a little small once we get into conference play.

The live ball turnovers hurt us, but so did the offense against the zone. A couple more threes, and we're up by 14.

I suspect Wojcik and Hebb will be the ones left out of the rotation when we start playing better teams / when we are in really close games. Both just seem a step behind the other guards on the roster.

Petition to nickname Paxson, "Oh Yeah." As in...

Announcer: "Paxson Wojcik will check in for the Ramblers."

Me: "Oh yeah, Paxson!"

Agreed. Hebb will be great to have next year though.

Kennedy also looks a step behind where he was last year. Sure he will be fine though. As others have said, there still can be some lingering effects from COVID--both from the virus itself and the few weeks off.

Sunday is our first big test.

Not a great first half or overall shooting day, but we still put up 88 points (while playing the end of the bench the last 4 minutes).

These games are what they are.

Hebb looks like he’s still adjusting to the college game, which is understandable. Those floaters that he could get away with in high school aren’t always there in college.
