Not a pretty half, by any means. But it’s better to be winning after an ugly half than losing after an ugly half. Will need to play better in the second half to win, though.

A week ago we were saying this same thing except Uguak instead of Hall.

Honestly, it could go either way. Aher is the only reason we're winning at halftime tonight, but outside of Krutwig, Williamson, and Norris, no one else has been more productive than Welch. He needs to see the floor more often, and not just as Krut's backup.

Also, Hall is really deteriorating before our eyes. I don't know if it's covid, mental, or what, but he's just not cutting it. Playing him in such a prominent role could cost us the Valley. It makes even less sense given that everyone knows this is our deepest team maybe ever. Early in PM's tenure, I'd say we have to ride Hall and hope he figures it out because we don't have a plan B. Now, that's not the case.

Maybe Hall should stop shooting 3's. This isn't the opponent to shoot yourself out of a funk. That opportunity was last week vs ISU.

I wish Braden shot more from deep. When you shoot 40%+ from deep, you should be taking a few every game.

UNT is great defensively. Maybe even better than Wisconsin, albeit they have less size

We've talked about it a lot, but our depth is something else. Players stepping up on any given night. Cooper will two big 3's tonight. Kennedy showing some confidence and speed. And Uguak being the offensive MVP.

A game like this shows how important it was to get a game in this weekend. Scheduling is so weird, you don’t want two weeks of rust built up going into next weekend. And to get a game against a tough defensive team, similar in a lot of ways to the way Bradley plays, is a bonus. Kudos on the scheduling effort.
