Richmond moving from Quad 2 to Quad 1 is entirely possible, as well. It’s not a win, but if you ask major conference schools the number of Quad 1 games is, for some reason, also important regardless of outcome (ie a school with a 3-6 record in Quad 1 is more impressive than a school with a 2-1 record)

That Richmond game was very interesting and I think about it frequently. It's shocking that Richmond is so low in rankings compared to where they were. Maybe teams have done a better job prepping, and know all of their tricks by now. But I'd be shocked if they don't make it into the tournament.

Jay Bilas released his top 68 teams ranking behind a pay wall on ESPN plus, here’s the list for free at 247:

Drake at #27 and Loyola at #55, the disrespect for mid majors and Loyola specifically is ridiculous.

Yeah, that's messed up. I guess we'll have to explain it to them this weekend

Amazing that with a record of 0-0 we're still holding the 22nd spot.

Totally floored by that. I kmew Seth Davis dropped us off his ballot, so I figured others would too. Maybe the voters saw our Saturday game and thought we'd do the same on Sunday.

I think it is acknowledgement that playing two games on the road against a quality opponent is difficult. I don't think losing in overtime by 1 point the day after you torched them by 27 is viewed as a bad loss.
