Just looked, a Quad 4 loss yesterday. Either Oakland plays gangbusters the rest of the season and thereby moving it up to a Q3 (still not pretty) or as others have said, we're really going to need to shine in the A10 tournament

Burning Jack Turner's redshirt is so far down pecking order of things to worry about IMO. Odds of him (or anyone) staying at Loyola for 4 productive years are slim to begin with. Not worried about being robbed of having Jack Turner for the 28-29 season.

Awful start, maybe travel and adjusting to new time? Know UConn struggled in Hawaii but we don’t look good at all.

Except Oakland played on Thursday and got there after us.

Jack Turner burning his redshirt. Hopefully, it's worth it and he gets good time the rest of the year too.

Even less of an excuse then; burning turners redshirt is also a questionable move.

2. With fundamentals when you get guys that have been in a couple programs not much consistency
4. When you continue to bring in so many new guys hard to reach peak efficiency early and if you have injuries just puts the process down the road.

Sorry Skate, but these are excuses.... and I must completely disagree.. You are either a fundamentally sound player or you are not. As a coach, You can either stress and teach fundamentals or you cannot. We have too many players who just lack basic fundamentals in game situations - and we are not getting any better at it. 2 glaring examples besides boxing out - FT shooting and needless, stupid fouls 30 feet from the basket.

In this age of college basketball, all teams have mostly new players. We just got whooped by a Charleston team that has 11 new players. We are taking longer to "reach peak efficiency" than just about every team we played.

Injuries? I get it, but we have 10 starters - remenber? And we have two 4 star freshman. Some have said this is the deepest most athletic team we have ever had. Even down 3 of are top players we are more talented than the 2 teams we just lost to. We should be able to overcome our injuries.
