Biggest news of the first half is there's a new pregame video that, if I'm not mistaken, features a vintage close up of GoRamblers.

Also-- Walt Lemon 1 of 6 from the field with only 3 points.

I'll take a two point lead at the half in this one, especially since Thomas played a LOT with two fouls in the first half, and Doyle is starting to feel it. Two fouls on Pickett, Bell and Taylor for Bradley to start the second half. Eleven turnovers for Loyola at the half, but the rate of turnovers is starting to slow.

Nice job by King coming off the bench. He looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, but his length keeps the Braves shooting lower percentage shots from outside.

King looks like a growing kid with potential (stopped one drive with a block), but doesn't yet know how to get position underneath. Still learning, but potential could be there.

Way to come out fighting, Ramblers. Is spotting the other team 10 or so points at the start of each half some new Porter strategy?

WELL, Whom do we blame this one on ???

Both discussion calls went against us--the first one--our guy --Doyle?-- gets slammed to the floor--Refs blew it--May have got the second one correct.

Doyle must learn to find the open guy--Turk was open late constantly.

Our guys except for Doyle, Keke , and Turk ate not athletic enough--Thomas makes up for this with courage and skill--SO Porter MUST recruit better.

Am sorry to say that O'Leary appears to have regressed--Not much use to us as he is--USE KING--He could not be worse.

Sorry guys but heart , Thomas Kiki Turk and Doyle are only a fraction of an MVC team

Hope our new recruits will be of help.

Porter feels a lot more comfortable playing on Thursday, because he gets Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. He's 0-4 at Arch Madness, finishing 10th, 6th, 10th, and 7th in his four previous trips, and losing all four games-- thereby maximizing his weekend. Let's see how he likes 9th place....

They used to call it Drake night. Now it's going to be Loyola night.

Absolutely pathetic.

You have got to be kidding me. When is this coaching staff going to teach this team ANYTHING about defense? I start watching when we are up 48-45. Next 2 possessions we allow a power forward to dribble in for a layup (beats Turk off the dribble and Osborne doesn't step in front to cut off the baseline). Then - after a horrible offensive possession of standing around - we defend well for few seconds and then Doyle switches off for no reason tand allows a wide open three. Now we are down and we play stand around one on five offense for the rest of the game. SOOO FRUSTRATING. Bottom line - we need an assistant coach who can actually do some coaching.
