It was pretty bad for a while there, but we had a nice little run to make it a 6 point game at the half.

Let's get them in the 2nd half!

ISUb cooled down considerably from the three point line. Things were looking ugly when we were down 17. I'll take a 6 point deficit after that horrendous start.

Wow, that first 15 minutes was pretty ugly. After ISU got 6 fouls, their defense wasn't as aggressive, and they lost some confidence when we started to make a run. Love the pressure on the inbounds pass-- I think it rattles them. We need to get to the free throw line, and keep hitting those outside shots to spread the defense. Need to get some fouls called on them right off the bat after the break-- both Gant and Bell have two fouls each, and if they're in foul trouble that will help the inside scoring.

It didn't show up in the box score, but Rajala had some nice minutes and really affected their inside scoring. In just three minutes on the court, Rajala has a +8 in the plus/minus.

So, today in the Valley, two bottom feeders have beaten two teams looking like they would battle for third. Things are tightening up.

Nice recovery towards the end. Those middle 10 minutes or so were brutal.
