I’m at least as stupid, if not more stupid.

I don't like the silence today on the DePaul job hunt.

I don’t put much stock in not hearing anything today. It’s 48 hours after the season ended, and he clearly and honestly seemed like he wanted to take a step back. Teams are obviously going to reach out to him, and I’m sure that happened today. Even if he interviews, that doesn’t automatically mean he’s leaving. Some people use interviews to learn about how other people run their programs, and take that back to their job.

Steve Watson also said that the school has been working on something, and I doubt that they had conversations about it during the tournament, so that needs to happen to.

01 I am sure that the AD did not have conversations with the coach but there were some higher up donors in St.Louis and Indy and I am certain that they had discussions to set the stage for an offer. Let's hope for the best. If anybody can make this happen it is AD Watson.

Correct, that’s what I meant. Thanks for clarifying. The Athletic article said that there have been ongoing discussions putting something together to keep Porter here “for a long time”, but it didn’t say those conversations were with with Porter himself. And I doubt they were during the tournament.

Nate... I can't tell if it's that their fans are curious about Moser's availability, it's a trolling move, they think they might read some tea leaves, or if they're looking to engage in a smack talk session. But someone wanted SOME kind of DePaul info, and that's all I got today.

So after listening to a discussion on the SCORE this AM.....makes me think that their new AD has an ego....and wants to wipe Porter Moser out of the headlines by hiring a BIG name....also under pressure to outdo Marquette and the Smart hire......so I think he is either looking for a big name person or someone attached to a Big Name program. My gut tells me he wants Chicago to say "look at Him" of course my gut also tells me to have that 2nd Italian Beef... Does anyone remember the Depaul coach who went around in a lavish fur coat?
