Looks like we offered 2018 guard Myreon Jones last night according to Jones HS coach on Twitter. The guard has offers from bigger schools like Ole Miss and Memphis and also top tier mid majors like Murray State. 247 has his composite score as a 4 star recruit while verbal commits has him listed as a 2 star.

4 star guard who had committed to Memphis, but de-committed when they fired Tubby Smith. Seems like a guy that’s been just under major school’s radar, but would be a great steal for us.

Jones would be a hell of a pickup.

We've given looks to Jones at open gym in years past per twitter. No coaches following him currently though... I love Jones' game but I think his skill set is a bit too in line with Negron's at this point.

Definitely seems like they're looking for someone who can stretch the floor a bit more given the shooters we lose.
