Do I understand this
Great Alaska Shootout schedule right? We play Toledo at home on Nov. 21, and then if Toledo beats San Jose State (very likely) and we beat San Diego (a better than 50% chance, IMO) in Alaska on Nov. 25, we play Toledo again, in Alaska, less than a week later on Nov. 27?
This is certainly one of the weirdest Loyola schedules I've ever seen.... The easternmost game we play all year is at South Bend, Indiana? SEVEN home non-conference games (UTSA, Toledo, Creighton, Cleveland State, UIC, Western Illinois, TBA)? There are lots of things to like about it if this is how it comes out. If we can reach the championship of the Alaska Tournament, we'll probably face San Diego, Toledo, and Middle Tennessee. I like the spacing, the overall quality, the number of home games, and the improvement over the past few years. I like that there's no non-DI games (so far). A little worried about a road-heavy 2016-17 schedule, but we'll see.
