Our friends at Wright State (2) just advanced to the Horizon championship game against Cleveland State (8), so realistic chance our W against them looks a little better this week. Also of note, they beat arguably our worst loss (UWM) tonight in the semis

Kent State and Norfolk State also won in the first round of their respective tournaments. UNC Wilmington lost in the CAA semifinals.

Breaks my heart to see NC ST. lose to BC this afternoon....
Lets watch how this spins into a positive or " no big deal" to their tournament situation...

So... if NC state won today (but didn't win their tourny)... but played us earlier in the year and lost to us... would they be outside looking in? I know they're having SOS issues as well. But if loosing to us would have knocked them out than they probably did the right thing by buying out.

Playing us on the road, win or lose, would’ve helped them. Their out of conference schedule is worse than ours, and would’ve been a lot better with us on it instead of who they replaced us with.

We are a Quadrant 1 team, so a loss to us wouldn't hurt them.

So, why did they cancel with us? At the time we probably weren't expected to be a Q1 team....?
