This is the problem with such a terrible schedule is that we dont learn how to play from down. Hope we can make some halftime changes

Not good !! Down a ton --our board is all a twitter and upset. I say this was a game slanted against us--Lots of games little rest long travel-- Wer are youmg and this maybe got to us. Second galf could be better --B ut in any case we will regruop when we arrive back home. Not to worry

Obviously, this game wasn't a great setup with all the travel over the past week, and it's showing. I don't think that these guys are significantly better than us (like the tv announcer makes it sound like). We are just having a god awful night shooting. We have struggled from the three, which is bad enough, but we had a lot of missed layups just roll off the rim. I don't think this game makes us a bad team though.. i think we just had a really really bad first half.

Hopefully they can turn it around in the second and make this game look respectable. Didn't we come back from 20 down against Wichita State last year? Maybe we get another second half effort like that again tonight...

This reminds me of the New Mexico game we played 2 years ago as part of the MVC-MWC Challenge. The halftime score of that one was 38-19. Same type of start, we couldn't make a basket, and they seemed to hit everything.

This is one of the worst shooting nights I can remember. 10% from 3. And only 26% total. Hopefully this is just an off shooting night.

We made some plays to get some good shots, but they didn't fall. Started off with six missed field goals (3 of them chip layups) and missed them all. Missed the first 3 free throws. We knew they had a good 2-3 zone, and we proved we could break it with three or four plays, but the shots didn't fall at the end. They're a good defensive team, but not good enough to stop six point-blank layups.

I'm gonna say that it's mental. They're being intimidated by Boise State's swagger, what we having riding on this game, and a height/strength advantage. Hopefully, they settle down in the second half, cut the deficit and see if Boise falters or gets in foul trouble.

We certainly have an opportunity. Their guys are in foul trouble, they've turned the ball over a ton. We just need to make shots.
