It looks like we're are almost afraid to shoot. Guys keep passing on shots we've made all year.

Custer is short on every jump shot so seems like he is just tired today.

This is going to be a big rivalry. ISU doesn't lose a single player next year.

This win is WHY LUC is the best this year !! Illinois St plays well in their playground style BUT like all playground reams , TURNOVERS !! Our poise and thir mistakes won it !! We are the bwst and will prove it next week.

Need to thank ISU for the 20 turnovers, about 10 of them completely unforced, that equalized our abysmal three point shooting. We should not have won that game. Maybe the turnover count was a product of our crowd?

Also, did we just complete an entire regular season without one single player fouling out of a game?

I disagree Toledo with respect -- It went our way because our team IS a team --Their style was destined to fold--It came a lot later than I expected BUT as I stated their style crumbles when faced with our style of play--I doubt they will do well at the ARCH--BTW if CUSTER plays to form and hits half of his shots we win easily--

But then--Ifs and buts !!!

Lot of confidence over on the ISUr board after today's game ("if we cut down on our turnovers, we win Arch Madness"; "fewer turnovers and we are the best team in the Valley"). They fail to recognize that we had one of our worst shooting games of the season and the MVC POY was held to 3 points...and we still won by 7. We shoot even average from 3 today and we win by 20.

6 days for the legs to recover and let's come out and sweep our way to the Dance.

The big shots at the end.... Two threes from Ben and one from Custer... after we'd been something like 4 of 24 on threes... that was something.
