These coaching changes, along with the open transfers, is making this a crazier than usual off-season.

I admit I am concerned about the UNC opening and PM.

Seriously?

There isn't a snowball's chance in hell Moser is a potential UNC hire. That is one of the top five (probably more like top three) jobs in the country.

I don’t think Porter would be in UNC’s radar, but he might be on the radar of the school who loses their coach to UNC

There’s no way PM is considered for UNC. If they don’t promote from within with Hubert Davis or somebody, they’re going to snag another P5 coach that has had success. It’s UNC, they can get practically anybody they want. Not worth getting concerned until they pick their guy

Yeah, seems unrealistic, but honestly I would be thrilled for him if it happened. No mixed feelings there.

While I hope "coach stays" (think Hoosiers, Gene Hackman, best sports movie ever), I think he will eventually leave unless he gets a ten year extension and $2million a year. Otherwise it will happen this year still or in the near future.
If it happens I will wish him the best and thank him for all that he has done.
In any event, my worst fear was he would go to DePaul and we would have to watch him coach against us because surely he would want to schedule Loyola.
So thanks to Mr Stubblefield. I truly wish him success and a long career at DePaul.

DePaul (and maybe Northwestern) are the only scenarios where, in my own view, Porter's legacy would be tarnished a bit here and I would not be cheering for his success (as petty as that sounds). If Marquette, Creighton, etc., I'd be sad and disappointed we couldn't lock him down but would certainly understand and cheer for his success.

Pretty much agree with this. Especially Creighton. I would totally get that move. But, we’ll see.

Ugh. Could see McCasland preferring Texas Tech and now that Beard left pushing for that job. He’s got to be a candidate for both

There are a lot of ways it makes sense, and a lot of ways it doesn’t. Also, “being a candidate” in the Twittersphere can mean a lot of things. We’ll see.
