Intriguing for sure. Lots of young guards coming in to the program. Have to feel like we are in a good place with that BVNW and Mokan connection

Edited to add: probably a good sign that Moser is still actively recruiting this week, no?

That thought definitely popped into my mind.

New offer today. Alston Mason, point guard out of Blue Valley Northwest High School in Olathe, KS (notable alums include Clayton Custer and Ben Richardson). Also played with the same Mokan Elite AAU program.

Offers from Kansas St., Southern Illinois, Florida International, Nebraska, Southern Utah, Abilene Christian and UMKC per Verbal Commits. Also got an offer from New Mexico State today per his twitter and has some interest from other mid and high majors (Maryland, Clemson, Georiga, Missouri State, San Diego State)

24/7 says he's one of the top senior point guards still available in a short article here. Another article mentioning and discussing some of the teams recruiting him.

Seven minute highlight video from his junior year, and a more recent four minute video from February here.

Remember seeing we were interested a while back, didn't fully rewatch the videos above, but seems to have a pretty smooth handle, likes to drive to the rim, and has a nice looking jumpshot form three. Seems to make good reads in the passing game as well.

Never know what something like this means, but another interesting wrinkle none the less.

Baylor Hebb has entered the portal. That's...not good.

Oof. I was super excited for Baylor in the future, I thought he showed so much promise. That sucks.

Maybe Keith/Lucas coming back?

We're so deep at guard, I was really hoping that he was going to stay but he wasn't getting much playing time with Norris and Kennedy in front of him.

Yeah, I think you’re right. Weird after this article just a week ago where he seemed very positive about the culture and future. Talks about learning from Lucas and excited for when he is not on the sideline anymore.

Regardless, I’ll be a fan!

The offer to another 2021 PG makes even more sense now with Hebb possibly leaving.

Not really surprised when any player enters the transfer portal these days. Love it or hate it, it seems like the new norm in college basketball, especially for players who didn’t see much playing time.

Hebb is pretty surprising. There must be seniors coming back? Unless with Kennedy, Norris, and then Johnson and the Ivy transfers he didn't think he'd see the floor at all next year. The degree of open interest we have out on transfers and HS seniors as well as the amount of talent still on the team for next year means I imagine there will be more surprises coming.
