People love turning rumors into reality. From what we know of Porter, I think he strictly focuses on coaching at Loyola and then logically evaluates any offer that comes his way. I don't understand why you wouldn't do that. The Notre Dame position isn't even open and if it does open in the next couple of years they could promote from within the organization. It' still an unknown if Loyola will even sustain success with Porter, it just seems unlikely to assume that he has some long term plan to holdout for a position we've never heard him speak of or have any ties to.

Lets hope he writes some letters again and decides to stay...

If it’s 6/18, I hope the offer is 10/20 or better

This same exact thing happened literally on Good Friday two years ago with the St. John's job. Stressful.

Hahahah after I saw the tweet about the offer I did the same thing and checked the date of the St. Johns offer. Crazy, the fact that this offer is for six years has me worried. I wonder what the contract buyout price would be if he underperforms there before the end of that contract?

Yeah he's just a college basketball/Valpo super-fan. It's unlikely he has any credible sources. Most likely just looking for follows and likes.
